In 2011, Fernando and Elizabeth, along with their kids Martin and Samuel, moved to the U.S. After two years in Oregon Fernando knew that their best hope to follow their dream of giving their kids the brightest future was to start their own business and so in 2013 El Pilon LLC opened up for the first time in the heart of downtown Portland.
